Grading Parameters:

• Homework and Classwork – 25%
• Quizzes – 35%
• Tests – 40%
• *Quarterly Binder Check – counts as 1 test grade

 Course Assessment:

• Homework – given 3-5 times per week
• Classwork – given daily
• Quizzes– 7-10 per quarter
• Vocabulary and Grammar quizzes will be given for each chapter
• Minimum of:
• One oral presentation per quarter
• One writing assignment per quarter
• Tests– 3-5 per quarter 
•          Chapter Tests at the end of each chapter
• • One binder check per quarter
  • Midterm Exam (end of 2^nd Quarter)
  • Final Exam (end of 4^th Quarter)

 *Assessments will be aimed to measure students’ abilities in reading, writing, speaking and listening comprehension in the target language

 *Binders – ALL students are responsible to have a binder for Spanish class ONLY.  Students are expected to bring their binders to class every day and keep it neat and organized.

 *Students who miss class are responsible for any missed classwork or homework assignments.  If you miss class you have two days to hand in any missed work in order to receive FULL credit, after the third day the work will not be accepted and you will not receive any credit for the missing assignments.
