Grades Close Today for Third Quarter. Chapter 30 and Chapter 31 will be your first two marking grades for the final and last quarter.

April 11th through the 13th will be a review of chapter 31 for which we previously reviewed and your homework completed. Your Chapter test for 31 will be Wednesday the 13th.

Thursday and Friday (14th and 15th) you are to begin Chapter 32, sections 1 and 2.

Remember: Bring your book to class everyday. You should also have an agenda book, notebook and/or a binder. It would make your life a lot easier. If you are not going to take notes from my lectures or discussions during class, you will then have to outline the chapters yourself. Also, keep track of  your ongoing presidents, amendments, and chapter vocabulary as well as the chronology of events.

You will be tested on your states and capitals so give them a glance every so often or you will lose site of them. I will focus on resdistricting and electoral votes toward the end of the year.

Honors Classes: A topic of your choice that you selected previously will comprise a  three page paper for me (typed at 1 and 1 /2 spaces) with bibliography attached. It is due one week prior to exams for fourth quarter. It is not too soon to begin.
