Television Production I

In this course, students will develop the techniques and skills  they will need to use in all stages of production. In addition, students will learn production roles, how to operate equipment in a television studio, visualize camera shots, write scripts, and begin editing projects, using computer software. Students will complete projects; including interviews, mock newscast,  a “How to” Project and, if time, a public service announcement.

Rules

In the TV Production Classroom students are expected to be respectful and responsible; respectful to the teacher, your fellow classmates, and the equipment in the studio.

It is your responsibility to follow the school rules,  get to class on time,  and participate in the classroom activities in the TV Studio.  The majority of the work here is hands on activities, using the equipment, while learning about production and production roles.
