LCHS TV Production Club News

TV Production Club students meet in the LCHS TV Studio every morning for Morning News. This year there are thirty six members that participate.  Students work on camera, anchors (including a weather person), audio, graphics, and director. When the show is live, it almost looks like your local TV news in action. Seniors, James Atkins has become the graphic artist guru.  Seniors, Erick Smith and John Severe, give us up to date reports on school and professional sports.

Club members are part of the TV crew that records Assemblies and other programs here at Classical. This year members videotaped the Hispanic Heritage Celebration Assembly, Veterans Day Assembly, Pep Rally and the Texting and Driving Presentation.

This fall some of the club members worked for our local educational television network, LETV15, videotaping Lynn’s High School soccer and football games.

Students from the Classical TV Production Club continue to videotape sporting events. After the Winter Vacation, we will be videotaping the Black History Month Assembly here at Classical.  Students will be needed both on camera and in the Control Room.  Sign sheets will be out on Monday, February 27th during the morning news.
