Discrete Math studies relationships and data.  Rather than looking at smooth curves it looks at “bumpy” curves or data sets that don’t flow evenly along a given path.

Second semester we will study Probability and Statistics.  If you know about statistics you can make more informed decisions in your life.  Statistics inform marketing and advertising.  With statistics you can figure out how high your probability is of getting a high paying job in 10 years, and what you can do to improve this probability.
