Mandalas and Geometry

Mandalas are art forms that are usually geometric in nature.  Their creators get a sense of calm from making them.  This type of pattern is found in many parts of the world.

For extra credit you could research mandalas and write a two page paper on them. Make sure you follow guidelines about not plagerizing the work of others – all quotations must be documented.

For extra credit you might even try drawing a mandala of your own.
