The GEM Club:

Girls Excelling in Math

• This program brings together a group of 8 to 10 teenage girls for two afternoons per week throughout the school year.  Activities will be exciting, as we meet inspiring women and invite them into our circle of influence.
• This program is by invitation only.  You are a part of a select few who are being invited to participate in a unique opportunity.  Learn how to establish goals and achieve independence.
• You need to pass the 10th grade MCAS.  I would like to look at your recent score sheet in order to work with you on the problems you missed.
• We will also learn about women’s issues and find our place as women in society.  We will talk about what we need to do to become independent, self-sufficient women in the future.  There will be field trips and visiting speakers.

2:30 – 4:00 Tuesdays and Thursdays and a few Saturday field trips
