Advanced Art is working on develpoing individual art portfolios for future artistic endeavors such as exhibits, contests and art college/major opportunities.

The students are currently working in techniques of watercolor and will discuss the master artists of the Renaissance, exhibited in various museums. Students will explor watercolor methods, vocabulary and techniques:

wet on wet

wet on dry

drybrush

mopping

sizing

spattering 

Students will be able to create a watercolor landscape from photo which demonstrates knowledge of the art elements: line, shape, form, color and composition,
