Mr. Palmeira   Homework: Geometry TT  –  Blocks D and G

Each assignment must be labeled with the assignment and your name on top. Further, each assignment must be completed individually, on separate, white lined paper. The reason for this is that Icollect and grade as a Test grade, one assignment weekly.   All work must be shown. I cannot accept homework with just answers. All assignments are from the Text. One of these assignments will be counted as a take home Test grade. All assignments are due the next class.

Beginnng of the 4th Quarter:

Monday April 9th,2012: Vocab: Define and explain each term. Assume you are teaching me and I have no knowledge of the subject matter in your explainations. Teach me! Circle, center, radius, radii, diameter, congruent circles, chord, secant, tangent, point of tangency, tangent circles, concentric circles, interior/exterior of a circle.

Tuesday April 1oth: Insure 10.1 Side A and B are complete. (Should be completed in class.)  Read pages 553-556 of your Text. Do Vocab: central angle, inscribed angle, chord,  tangent (again), arc, minor arc, major arc, semicircle, measure of minor/major arc, write in  your own wordsthe three: Inscribed Angle Theorem on page 555.

Wed. April 11th. Do pg. 556 # 1-8 Checking  Concepts; and page 557 # 1-9. I like this assignment as a Test grade!

Thursday April 12th. Ensure 10.1, 10.2 and 10.3 are completed. Be ready to hand in as a possible Test Grade.

Tuesday April 24th.  I will collect Wed. April 11th assignment and either 10.1 or 10.2 as a Test Grade. Ensure all is completed.

Wed. April 25th. Read pages 360-363. Do page 363 # 1-7 and 364 # 1,2,4.

Monday April 30th. Ensure 12.1 is completed and make a Net of a Right Rectangular Prism.

Tues. May 1st. Read pages 367 -370. Do page 370 #1-6 and 371 #1-9.

Wed. May 2nd. Make a net of a Right Circular Cylinder.

Thur. May 3rd. Read pages 374-377. Do page 378 # 1-4 Checking Key Concepts; and Exer. & Applications  page 378-379 # 1-6 and 8-12.

Friday May 4th. Make a net of a Right Square Base Pyramid.

Monday May 7th. Do page 674 # 17,18, 29-31, 32,33, 35,36.

Tues. May 8th Read pgs 535-538. Do pgs 538 # 2,3, 539 # 1-6, pg. 541 # 4,5,6.

Wed. May 9th. Read pgs. 586-587. Do page 588 Key Concepts # 1-8, and Exercise and Application  # 1-9.

Thur. May 10th. Do p. 685 # 43,44,45. P. 682 # 69,71, 72,73, 667 # 1-8.
