November 14, 2011 – LET’S CELEBRATE! SECOND QUARTER!!!

This week, we will learn how your short and long term memory work. Also add on 10 new sat vocabulary words.

November 7, 2011 – This week in Learning Center you will be checking in with all teachers.  This is the end of the quarter week.  When quarterlies are finished, clean and organize binders, backpacks, and lockers!

Happy Halloween – October 31, 20111 – Be safe if you go out and about!!!!

This week we will be learning some new vocabulary words – we will use some various strategies to learn them, too!

Please check in with your teachers, the quarter will come to a close in two weeks – show your teachers you care.

Monday, October 24, 2011 -

This week – you will be reviewing the eight comma rules and be able to use them correctly in sentences.

Also, you will take the time to organize backpacks, binders, and lockers!

Tuesday, October 11, 2011 – This week you will be learning about your Multiple Intelligences!  This can help you study and be a better you.  It can also head you in a career direction.

Monday, October 3, 2011  = This week you will be writing your goals in your Agenda book

Also, we will be learning some learning style strategies

You will check in with all teachers to see how you are doing!!!

September 26, 2011 – This week in Learning Center you will learning about your own Learning Style by filling out a checklist.  We will follow up with the strategies that fit your style.

Additionally, you will have a project to do:  Your Future – you will draw a picture literally and nonliterally of your future.  Due October 6, 2011

September 19, 2011 -

Read all about “Why should you set goals for yourself” and you will be setting your own goals!

Continue to set up binders – be consistent in all you do.
