May 14-17 All classes will be viewing the movie Glory. At the end of this feature students will be able to describe the obstacles faced by the first African American soldiers in the Civil War.

May 18th Students will examine the dilemma faced by President Lincoln by the Southern seizures of Federal property at the  beginning of his presidency. What would you do?

May 21-23  We will be studying the important events of the civil war. Students will be able to identify and defend which battles they believe to be the most important.

May 23rd Chapter 12 Take Home test due!

May 24-25 April 1865 is often said to be one of the most important months in American History by historians. Students will be able to critically evaluate this claim by the end oi class on Friday.
